Welcome to Inspired Holistic Health!
Inspired Holistic Health is a private nutrition practice in Yakima, WA providing compassionate, patient-centered nutrition therapy and counseling for a variety of health conditions using a naturopathic approach.
I am on a mission to help you identify and address the causes, not just the outward signs, of your illnesses, so you can live your best life.
I feel food and nutrition are at the CORE of our health.
The traditional medical model to healthcare tends to prescribe medications and treat symptoms rather than using nutrition and lifestyle to heal and prevent.
You ask why?
Addressing the food piece is REALLY complex and harder to do than take a pill, plus
medical providers, in general, get very minimal training in nutrition.
As a Holistic Nutritionist, I have the years of training and personal experience in overcoming nutrition challenges.
I take science and evidence-based principles, and package them into practical strategies that you can use in your everyday life.

Curious about what a Holistic Nutritionist is and if I can help you?
The program I attended was designed and run by Naturopathic Doctors. The Naturopathic philosophy states that we are designed with an innate ability to heal ourselves, which is ordered and intelligent. Our bodies require our support in identifying and removing the obstacles to healing and recovery, in order to access and augment this inherent self-healing process. We will be looking at lifestyle causes, genetic make-up and environmental factors that affect chronic disease. Symptoms are clues to the underlying health issue. I will help you identify and remove the underlying causes of illness rather than to merely eliminate or suppress symptoms. Often when you suppress or eliminate symptoms without addressing the root cause, you end up with another symptom requiring yet another medication or intervention. My job is to help you break that cycle.
